Pardon my brief hiatus… Life took over!
Today is an exciting day! It’s Martin Luther King Day, and also the Presidential Inauguration. Congrats Obama on your second term. Although I have noticed a slight decrease in my paycheck (due to the increased social security deduction) I am very pleased with the “Obama-Care” and your genuine concern for the middle class folks like moi. 🙂
Now for the fun stuff!! Did y’all see the First Lady at the inaugural ball? First off, she looks like she dropped a dress size (she is most likely a size 4 now), and looked oh-so-fabulous in her Jason Wu gown. I am sure you all were blown away by her gorgeousness… I sure was.
Oh boy! Did the beautiful Alicia Keys bring the house down with her incredible performance…

Trust that I couldn’t help but pay close attention to the fashionable styles during the inauguration… Haha! I did catch a tad bit of Obama’s equality themed speech which was outstanding to say the least.
