What drives you?
How do you respond when asked this question?
Most respond by saying “that’s a good question”, others say “please reword the question, while almost everyone begins their response with “hmmmm…”
The point I am trying to make is that this very important question makes you evaluate the true purpose of your being.
A friend responded by saying her pursuit for contentment is her drive.
Personally, I am driven by anything that allows me to satisfy the need to be successful and make a positive impact. I am driven by profound stories, people who have attained goals and dreams similar to mine, and love for others.
A lot of us have misplaced priorities, values, and objectives in life. Some are driven solely by money which in my opinion is the worst thing to drive someone with poor morals.
Take the time out today to evaluate the thing(s) that drives you and the needs you aim to satisfy. Whatever it is, be sure that you are not driven by the mundane.
For those of you who are clueless about your drive, try thinking about your need to be happy, to be loved, love others, and make a difference in the world. These needs will steer you in the right direction in determine who and what you should be driven/motivated by.
Have a great day!
